The coop seem to have a good meal deal.....for £5 you get

1 x Birds Eye Cod in batter 4 large fillets 480g
    1 x oven chips 907g
    1 x garden peas 400g
1 x Aunt Bessies Jam Roly Poly 300g
    1 x Carte d'or 900ml

That's a great offer but my local coop don't do this offer the next nearest coop is 30 mile round trip.
....but we also used the £1 off coupon on be:D

Have they changed their T&Cs? :(I now can't get onto the TBG site - saying 'an error occurred' each time! Obviously don't want to make public their T&Cs. That is not what the T&Cs said - it was an excluded promotion, so T should not be including an excluded promotion. Once again, it seems, T change their T&Cs midway through after people have already begun their acceptance of T's offer. I am not happy. This is what made me dislike them, for several years, after they pulled DTD price check midway through. I'd already bought the items, accepted their terms and they go and unilaterally purport to change them. Typical that the BE veg. price is now being picked up. My approach: SHOP IN ALDI! Get the 49p bags of frozen veg. (much higher weight) there. Do not buy from T if you end up paying more than you expected.

You didn't even get the Oetker pizza for A's price of £1.50 there, but paid £2.50:eek: to T for it... and they charged you £5 for the meal deal!:(

If they start taking account of all their own promotions - including wine that would have 'glitched' before but now won't - then there's now almost no point shopping at T as you can just get the items cheaper at the competitors than T's shelf price (and don't need to buy 10 different items). The only circumstances seem to be: if there are literally NO other stores within reasonable distance; if there is an error in a price being picked up (e.g. 24p Coke Zero packs); if you have a T staff discount (assuming that they don't take that into account); or if you want to collect two pence worth of CC points:( or whatever miniscule and inefficient amount you get for a T shelf price bill of several pounds and still end up paying several pounds in order to get a few pence (so this last option is a no-go). Or if it's 1p items/whoopsies that you can just buy straight and not be doing TBG and having to buy 10 different items. In other words, T's own very good special offers that aren't compared to from elsewhere (and then don't buy that much - i.e. don't need to buy 10 different items from them - just their few loss leaders!).

Otherwise, seems just pointless to me. May as well shop at the competitors if you are not even getting the competitors' cheaper prices at T or, at best, even if a target shop is done, you just end up paying exactly the same price as a competitor (and probably had to buy extra items/T own brands and pay extra for those, beyond what you would have bought from the competitor so even up buying more from T and paying them more - same price as competitor plus cost of non-comparable items). It's doubtless something that attracts the public generally though who think it is good to have what feels like a "discount" (off T's overpriced shelf prices, and that's only matched to cheaper prices at the competitor if everything that compares in the shop is cheaper at that one competitor) and doubtless - the public generally - will go for this, to me, nearly pointless (from our POV) scheme.

The problem is it has got a simple and straight message that is easy to sell (via advertising) that the public generally will understand.

You are so right....Aldi here we come ...the only consolation is we still had a voucher for a free pizza and we also used the £1 moc off be,,and we were next door to 'T' having our car fixed whereas Aldi was a 20 mile round trip. But tomorrow is another day:D

Afternoon. Please can anyone help? Messed up and I'm at my limit on apg for the month. But I have a c and c to collect this aft. Used vouchers to pay and hoping to get up to 10.00 back. If I leave claiming it until 28 days time will I get the voucher or is it now lost? :o:eek:

Any advice welcome. Thanks!!! Won't be able to resist the urge to check it :D

You can check but don't claim
I am not sure if its a calendar month or a rolling month
My husband and I both have accounts using different cards but the same address so im not sure if that is classed as 1 or 2 accounts, therefore we do our sums and haven't been caught out yet,,, we assume its a rolling month and assume the 2 accounts are classed as 1
Hope that hasn't confused you :)

    Thanks bubbs and squigs...

Alarmed at the connecting of the addresses and payment card thing. I pay for my mums shopping on her account with my card. Does this mean only 10 apgs per month between me and mum??? Oh dear. Instore for me then. Don't know which account I can claim my remaining wine apgs on. 😖

    Is it Friday?:huh::D It's the weeee-eeeee-eeee-kend!:j:j:j

(Doesn't mean too much to me nowadays, but that's because I have the luxury of being able very much to please myself during the week. Weekend is like a normal day - in fact it can be :eek:more busy than some of the rest of the week!) I'm getting on with the M list (from Wednesday:p) and may have a day tomorrow finding more (if I get today finished very well) and then big Monday again - sorry, back to the start of the week all too soon:(:rotfl:. Enjoy the weekend.
