They started off at £65 and then £105 after they phoned to get details so worth waiting to see what they offer and they will come and collect which is handy as mine won't start due to a hole in the cylinder

Can anyone explain one of life's mysteries?

I take a full loaf out of the freezer. Take half away to put in the bread bin.

Now the half a loaf won't fit back in the freezer:think::think::think:

Well done on the dry January, TM.

A friend of mine has cleared her drinks cupboard and donated it all here to avoid temptation, which is very nice of her but I don't drink alcohol very often (in fact hardly at all) so I have to find a charity event with a bottle stall soon so I can give it all to a worthy cause!

Anyone used cartakeback.com to scrap a car before. Someone comes to pick car up or you can drop off. First option easier but wanted to check if anyone used before please. Tia xx
Put the car on ebay with an honest description of what is wrong, list it as spares and repair if it is that bad. Start at a low price, it will sell, and you almost definitely will get more than scrapping it.

Edit: Bloke next to me was going to pay someone to take his car away just before xmas, I advised him to do this, and he ended up with £700 for it.

  • Definitely not getting a treadmill now!! Just been going through my tesco credit card and I couldn't see any amazon transactions on it weird i thought. Went to amazon and realised I had somehow selected my old cc as main payment!!!! Managed to log in and I owe £500. Can't believe it. So stupid!! Deleted old card from amazon now but still how stupid can't believe I hadn't noticed!!

Just had to book car in for 2 CV joints as well.

My spending has been starting to spiral atm.
