Morning Everyone

Being down to my last box of dishwasher tabs, I was determined to try to get some Finish on school run. Wasn't very hopeful as my store never seem to have any of the glitch stuff. And there it was - a great big empty space where the tabs should have been. Stood there like a loony looking everywhere, but remembered the mantra and looked up. There was a box on the top shelf that said Finish, but was it the correct one?

Just then a SA walked by.
I asked if there might be some stock somewhere.
Oh I don't know she replied. Obviously not prepared to look.
So I pointed out the box on the top shelf. Could that be it?
Oh I don't know she replied.
Well, could you get it down for me and look?
She puts out her hand. I'm too short to reach she says. Pause.
Well is there someone who could help me with it?
Off she went with a face like thunder.
Eventually she returned with a step ladder and it was the right one :j:j

Later that evening I thought I might try for two more. Was it going to be a wasted journey. Had the other boxes from that pack been snapped up.

Got to store. None on shelf. Oh well, a wasted journey. But that lazy SA had put the opened pack back on the top shelf without putting anymore out on the shelf :eek:

So got another two packets but now it was 10 o'clock and I wasn't going to stay up to check APG at 1am. Checked it at 7 this morning and all good. So thanks OP :beer:

In other news, finally got thru that awful level on Candy that I was stuck on for ages but now on 1364 :mad:

They're as slack as I was when using only three stores! Look at all the 'new' items I've found! They did seem pretty slack on fresh veg. before though (when it was included in the T scheme under own label).

They clearly must be missing something - I can't now imagine that three stores would cover all of M's range. I already knew that my original three stores were missing one item - which I occasionally went to a fourth store a little farther but not that far away in order to see in the flesh now and then and relied on msm:eek:(:rotfl:) in the periods in between. I was also missing some items that were online that I considered to be "local" items. Whilst I criticise msm - when it isn't their fault as their website takes from m.com and it is almost always that the item isn't sold through there - I have 'found' a couple of items from my new store on Wednesday, which are now on the list, that I notice are online and on msm all along. I really don't look at msm (at least not initially):rotfl: - I only knew the Baxter's soups were 50p from instore and didn't bother to look at msm. (I trust they are really straight £1.09 in A? I assume so, given that that would have been the price they went to after the very recent glitch - but they do need checking in A as they seem to put mbuys on again after a few days some times.)

I've now got mostly the "new" items from the 'foreign' store on the list but I'm still missing items:rotfl:. The actual "changes" from Wednesday, some are on the list now but others I still have to go through and will likely be later tonight or even tomorrow. We don't need to worry too much maybe as the prices the actual price collectors collected (on the APG) should now hold until Wednesday next week. This suggests that there will now be some offers, which expire this weekend in M, that will still be comparing on the APG mid-week. Don't rely on msm, as it will then show new offers that began on Monday (that won't work, if at all, until Thursday according to what we're now told) and will have the expired offer items at full prices - or probably some other poorer offer:rotfl: - when they are (or should be) still in the system.

Due to the reduction of the collections to a single one on the APG (that I understand consists of six stores, unless they have reduced that as well or my understanding was always completely wrong), I won't be doing full price collections on Mondays(:j in a way as it frees up time). I could have some free time here at home, which in its own way would be nice. For now, I won't be bothering with TBG on the Monday (unless there is a "glitch" on that makes it more worthwhile than buying in M) and will soon (but you know that will be late tonight or sometime tomorrow) be conflating the Tvs M list back into the buy in M list, and the T prices will disappear again, as it's just buying at M prices in T (at best) and you shouldn't let higher T prices think you are getting any discount or deduction (on what you would have got elsewhere, namely in M). I know it feels nice:rotfl: - that's probably why T does it!

If I do a Wednesday collection - I could take a week off from time to time - then I will still be getting potential TBG items within that check, as that covers the full items (in as far as I find them at all in my stores:rotfl:) in the entire store, minus the clothing and newspapers and magazines sections.

I plan on using Monday (or maybe Mondays, who knows) to visit new stores (stores that have probably been in their place for many years but which I haven't visited before) - hopefully the items I am getting will eventually start to diminish (or maybe hopefully not as I like finding more and more:rotfl: - not too many though please!) but that's not happening yet as later stores seem to have even more additional items than some of my earlier ones - it seems to have dipped (only very slightly) and then gone back up again if anything. This is also because Monday fits in (in fact it does so more than Wednesday but not to worry!) with my family as they tend not to be here and not needing things to be got for them or thing sorting out. (Unless they tell me they need something, usually at 4.10pm on a Sunday after all the shops after shut and they've not said anything to me about it all weekend:mad::rotfl:.) I am enjoying my travels too, so it is good for me, nice to get out and about and visit all sorts of towns (and see sights on the way) that I haven't visited before!

About the fact that I obviously can't get the prices of every item I now have from my three stores (usually three) on Wednesday changes checks, I am making some assumptions (but hopefully well-founded assumptions) about the prices of items likely to be staying the same and I have a couple of offer items from "new" stores too but I have taken the expiry dates of those (I don't normally collect those anymore) and will simply keep them on my list until the date and then cross them out - I'll then assume they've gone back to full price - it's of course possible that the offers could be extended but it's unlikely so I'll deal with things that way (or may even come across the items at new stores on Mondays and that will hopefully allow some updating of the list of items that aren't available in my stores - though all the stores are now mine:rotfl:). Occasionally, I might throw things out: can anyone in X check the price of this item for me - I'm taking it off the list as I assume it's full price, but, if you know differently, can you let me know. If, generally, anyone sees anything they notice that is wrong on my lists, please do let me know! Hopefully there will never be any such thing of course:D.

This has now taught me to be pragmatic and not try to account for every single possible item on every check on every occasion! To some extent, that's a better approach.

There's one offer that I now know I've been missing for several weeks - one on some Slimfast bar that is now to end on Sunday (but if it has been picked up on the APG may end there at some point on Thursday next week) - that is stocked in my stores but all useless as none of the three have indicated the offer! I pocked it up at that new store on Wednesday:rotfl:. I know I've had this before on a single occasion - but that one then too late - when I once went out to the different store (that I thought I'd never return to, although I now have - they didn't have many items at all and I was missing lots that I then had to take to another store anyway:mad::rotfl:) but in that store I went out to I discovered an offer, on an OOD SEL that had expired, that I've never known about from my usual three stores that had been showing full price all along!:(:rotfl:

The list itself - I have already (long ago) crossed out the expired items (I think). I hope:rotfl:. I've added new items from the new store and also a few offers, obtained from there and elsewhere, but have still to go through the main collection and there will then be further new offers/items to be added! So, anyway, the list is good as far as it goes.

I've also lost my elite badge, not that I ever had one in the first place lol but no Boots for me and I haven't even done a muggle shop never mind a glitchy shop we are all eating out of the freezer to make room so fingers crossed for a good glitch in the near future.
Tweets what do you think about CBB it's compulsive viewing here usually with my hands covering my eyes though, I can't believe the behaviour of some of them but it makes me thankful for my normal family.

Thought I was missing an item from my third store for a moment there but I see it is already on my list:rotfl:. I sometimes do get duplicates. I'm doubtless missing another flavour of the same thing from elsewhere though (that's not been in any of the stores checked so far):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.
