I now have two additional versions of the Duni Tablecover that are 50p! Most are not - most are £2.50 - or maybe not "most":think: as I've no idea what complete range of Duni Tablecovers M stocks across all its stores.
I feel sure that there will be others that are 50p but which I have no knowledge of at all because I have no indication of any of them in any of the stores I've visited. I'm sorry - I'm unable to put items of which I have no knowledge onto my list:p (would love to perform that feat, but I regret I cannot:rotfl: - I know, I'm hopeless aren't I?:rotfl::rotfl::)).
Note you will not find 50p Duni Tablecovers in every store. It's yet another item, like the all of them maybe:rotfl:, which seems to be available in a minority of stores out of 35. (But I've no way of knowing if that's just the stockout in the locality of those stores or whether it is a wider picture.) However, I have had at least one of them in a few stores out of the ones I've seen.
I even had a couple of different ones to check in one store - neither of them marked with the price on the shelf! One of them scanned at 50p (and will duly be added to the list in due course), the other turned out to be £2.50 and will be ignored! Note that the specific ones that will be on the list are 50p (as far as I know) and others may be £2.50! So that, for example, the Dariella Cream version is 50p but the Cream version, unfortunately, is £2.50. But, if you see one of the specific versions (including this Dariella Cream one that I've now picked up) that I'll have on the list, and it's your store marked at £2.50 on the SEL, try taking it to be scanned - it might scan at 50p for you!:D;):rotfl::T
Fancy only having the Red version on there, and then only the Red and the My Star Red - how could I be so lax?!:eek::rotfl::rotfl: I'm sorry folks - I just hadn't visited stores that had other 50p versions:o:o:rotfl:. I'm feel sure that I haven't even got all of them yet:o:rotfl:.
If you do come across any other versions, maybe in your store whilst unsuccessfully looking for Red and the others on the list:rotfl:, that are 50p, do not hold back from telling me! It will do no harm to let me know of the fact;):D. Then I can let everyone know, via the list, people can maybe find the other ones more easily (in a minority of stores:o - but we are all in a minority sometimes!) and can save money:money: and the information can then be more accurate. TIA.
I do hope they don't reduce these to 18p next week:rotfl: (after we've all - or those of us that can and need/want them - bought them at 50p).0 -
I thought earlier about the Cadbury Crunchie Funsize (that I found, to my astonishment, was still available in one M store on Sunday). Remember when I had someone buy that in A on a womble perhaps a couple of months ago and me saying that the N/A result was correct as they have gone now? That was some time after they had completely disappeared from every one of my more regular 6 stores and I'd reached such a point that I concluded that M no longer stocked them.
Clearly I now reckon that that was completely wrong. It seems clear to me that, with the 43p price still being valid and this some months after that initial RTC (whenever I first spotted it - who knows: maybe it was in some other stores, unbeknown to me, at that price long before then?:rotfl::rotfl:) that the product has been continuously available somewhere in M ever since. I even managed successfully to buy one on Sunday, as the beggars here have got through a little more than I wanted them to!:mad::rotfl: I haven't seen the product in any other M store since! However, that may simply be just the stores I have happened to visit.
I am taking the opportunity to purchase a few items as I'm going along and happen to be there. After all, I'm unlikely to find the items again (in other stores) and they aren't in any store that is anywhere near to me (not as if I can just nip down the road and get them again). Probably spend a fortune on these RTC items:rotfl::rotfl:.
So, when that womble came back N/A, really it ought to have been about a further pound on the APG voucher than it was:(. The product was, very likely, still stocked in M at 43p. It was just that neither they nor me were visiting the right M store!
The Christmas reduction stuff - though it's certainly not just Christmas reduction stuff - and these were reduced some time before Christmas - is available in some M somewhere, which might be yours, and, even if I am coming across stuff with SELs but no stock present in the store I'm in, I can't assume that the product won't be available somewhere else. My experience now is that, very likely, it will be! I'm afraid I'm grabbing a bit of the stock myself, sometimes taking the store apparently OOS:eek: - but maybe they have yet more they haven't put out yet?:think: - and often I'm still leaving some stuff - I'm buying some of it especially when I'm not coming across it in many other Ms - but hopefully it will continue to be available elsewhere for someone!0 -
At last, I get those RTCs that my useless local stores never stock!:D:rotfl::rotfl:
It is a side-effect of this 'quest':D:rotfl::T:cool:.
Well - I happen to be there anyway, through some other reason...:), so why not?:cool:
The ones I slightly "regret", and have to leave behind, are some of the freezer items, particularly when they are bigger sizes than some of the similar products available in Ms closer to me (even if not my closest stores) - as I would stand no chance of getting them back home within any reasonable time to store them without spoilage!0 -
Well, I hope you enjoyed my stories from Monday. Unfortunately, none of the items I've found that day will be on my list until I can come back later during the day and put them all on!
These could all have been on my list in the first place had these been my regular M stores - interesting, the way the list looked, to some extent, depended entirely on where it was being collected from! It's still dependant on that even now:rotfl:. It's still a sample and still a selection that's, it now seems, missing stuff!
What I'm doing, when I've already had an item on my list at some earlier stage, before I removed it when I, wrongly, concluded M no longer had it - I assumed that going OOS in every one of six nearby stores sort of said that M had gone OOS more widely but, obviously, that now turns out, it seems, to be an incorrect assumption - I'm putting these items back onto the list and in normal type (in other words not bold). But items that I've never picked up before - probably because, it seems now, they are not stocked in any stores I've previously checked - I'm putting those items into bold as "new" items (for me).:)
See you later - I have, I've got five sides of paper that's about as extensive as the changes on a more than medium-change price collection!:eek::rotfl::rotfl: Oh, I do enjoy it:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.
This isn't changes or new offers, it's just existing stuff (of which, apparently, I've been totally unaware before). And not local or regional items by any means - I now find some of the items in a couple of stores (but probably not much more, within my sample - but then that could be much wider stockage nationwide) and the two stores I have them in, different ones for different items:rotfl:, are miles apart!:rotfl::rotfl:
Has me wondering - why have Stoke and Hinckley got this but nowhere in between?:rotfl: Or why has Rhyl and Bilston got this item but Winsford not?:rotfl::rotfl: Then Crewe and Aldridge had something but I didn't find it in Belper. Eastwood, Nottinghamshire has something else and Coalville has it, along with Denbigh, but nowhere else?!?:huh: Then, another item that Coalville has, Morrisons Buxton has too and Connah's Quay but not Eastwood or Denbigh! Just interests people like me:rotfl::rotfl::D:rotfl:.
Just before I go - the Swadlincote (S. Derbyshire;)) RTCs shelf. You have some good items on that shelf if they are still there when you get there (mainly crisps/snacks):
Some of the Grim Green Popcorn - yes, that's still available elsewhere - but in your store there is a pack left at 25p. Also some Butterkist Cinema Sweet Popcorn 120g at 59p - however I found a much better version elsewhere - over two and a half times the weight and for 50p - unfortunately it is miles away from you (unless it's in a store the other side that I've not checked - but then will still be some miles away). That large Popcorn will be appearing on the list, in the hope that some M somewhere else will have it (that's currently not been visited by me).
If you are not going for glitched stuff, you have some bags of Walkers Sensations Crispy Thins Mexican Fiery Sweet Chipotle Flavour (100g) on 25p RTC in Swadlincote. There's also one of those in Coalville but it's 45p there earlier. Coalville also has Thai Sweet Chilli version at that 45p price.
Back to Swadlincote - you're doing really well IMO - some packs of 6 pack Golden Wonder, maybe a choice of 6 Ready Salted or 6 Cheese & Onion, at 55p. Some M Pig in Blankets snack bag (150g) at 45p. You've got (or did have yesterday) some Sensations Caramelised Onion & Balsamic Vinegar (150g) at 55p. There was also a multipack of Pickled Onion Monster Munch at 25p, but I took that.
Some Bird's Rum Sauce (500g) too, that's on 50p RTC in a few stores, but 45p on your RTC shelf in Swadlincote and most of the cartons look fine to me.
You have a Folding Lunch Bag - a choice of Red or Black - marked down to 38p. However, although the label has handwritten marking, suggesting it's store-specific, there is a SEL with the 38p price on it, so I take that as indication that these products are available in M at this price somewhere else. Wherever you are, have a look in your stores to see if you find it! However, :rotfl:I don't think you'll find it in any of the other 34 stores I checked. But then I could have missed going absolutely everywhere in every store. These two items (one Red, one Black;)) will be going onto the list as it is likely to be available in more Ms (albeit apparently not in all the other stores I happen to have visited). If anyone thinks 38p isn't a good price and is bettered by something else elsewhere, do tell me as I wouldn't want people wasting money!:rotfl::rotfl::D:T
One pack of Compton's Gravy Salt at 25p (Swadlincote). Other stores making do with 57p normal price. Some Walker's Mix Up Popcorn Mix 100g at 25p (this is all Swadlincote) - BB date 24th January but, obviously, still fine.
There's a pack of Veet Wax Strips (24) in Swadlincote M too, at 9p - however it looks like some of the strips are missing. But 9p for the remainder?:think:
Don't make special trips if someone else might beat you to it:rotfl::rotfl:. Perhaps now that the items have been announced on here!
If there's any other good stuff I've not mentioned, it's in amongst all the lot of information I have got. A couple of different Keyrings as well - one in one store and one in another - this isn't RTC (as far as I'm aware) - just another two items for the list - there's lots - it'll be there on the list later!
Goodnight:wave::wave:.0 -
TBG list vs M will be almost completely changed. (Northern Ireland, I know this isn't relevant to you.) Indeed, with the meal deal being almost certainly over, there will be little on the list at all now! Just to be aware that prices in M have changed substantially, as far as Tvs M comparable items are concerned, but my list isn't updated to reflect that yet. (Not all of them have changed in M, but quite a few. have.) I wouldn't bother with Tvs M tbh (unless there's a 24p keying error or something like that:rotfl: - then stick to that and the tried and tested Haribos I think!:D).
However, I have not done the usual price collection so haven't picked up any new offer items for Tvs M that I would otherwise have done. I'm planning on doing that with the normal collection tomorrow (Wednesday), insofar as my useless 2 or 3 stores stock or have SELs for any of the items:rotfl:!
I'll be back and will mention a bit of what I found as regards M prices on T items later, whenever I can:wave:.0 -
