:hello:I'm sorry to be the bringer of bad news - but I suppose it's good to get it out of the way first - you may already have noticed as I haven't caught up - it seems to me that the T meal deal vs M is now to be good as over:( due to an unfavourable set of price changes in M. I doubt that another competitor will come up with a set of offers that coincide with T's deal.

Nevertheless, I cannot completely exclude the possible, but very unlikely, situation of T's agents happening to choose three M stores that all have OOD SELs on the Carte d'Or in M. Or that some Ms might not stock some versions and, on those, the T price collectors having the unlikely situation of choosing two stores that both have old SELs on any such relevant version and a store that doesn't stock that version. Or even, again, absolutely unlikely, having two M stores that don't stock the same one (or more) of the range and happening to have, as their third store, an M that does stock the product but has not changed its SEL. Extremely unlikely situations indeed, but not impossible. I also can't exclude a keying error happening:rotfl: - though it is absolutely remote - but, then again, things that have a rare, remote chance of happening do occur.

These are all situations that could occur, but are most unlikely and, purely because of them, I can't say for definite it will be completely over. However, I expect the very high chance that it will be:(. I expect that, like me, they'll have at least one M store that has the new price.

Of course, I've seen far more than TBG today:rotfl: but, even picking three stores at random from the ones I've seen today, on every occasion I have them all with the new price unfortunately! I think it almost certain that TBG will have at least one with the new price, if not, very likely, all three they use. With TBG, in theory and assuming they follow their own rules in the way in which they state them publicly, there isn't even the situation like the APG where a store could have an old SEL, be one of the six checked and the lowest price they found be used in the APG (in other words M's £1.32 offer) - with TBG, if they get £1.32 in one of the stores checked (may also depend on the time of day they checked e.g. if they checked early enough, before the staff had changed the SEL in that store), it then depends on what they get elsewhere - if it's one £1.32 and two stores with the new higher price, the new higher price is taken:(. If it's one £1.32, one new price and one store doesn't stock on the specific product, then it is marked N/A - it would therefore fail to compare (if they follow that rule), an even worse situation!

The Selection Boxes have gone down to 50p in the M stores that still have stock of them. If you have one M store, I would estimate, based on my sample, that you probably have about a 3 in 4 chance of finding some in your store at the moment. Most stores do seem to have at least some of them - if you're more unlucky you may end up with a small 98g:( Disney Frozen or Star Wars version - but, then again, maybe it's just the stores I checked and they're unavailable everywhere else:rotfl:.

Most stores still have some Christmas stock - you could be out of luck though in Coalville - correct me if I'm wrong, I'm losing track as I've been to so many stores:rotfl:. That store (if indeed it is that one) seems to be one of few that don't have any Christmas stock in the "big January event" aisle or, it seems, much anywhere else. Those of you that are in, or near to, Swadlincote have some very good RTCs available to you on the specific RTC shelf in that Morrisons, mainly crisps and snacks, but more details later! There's also some few - not as many - in - I think is Coalville actually:rotfl: - but not as good price on them as the ones in Swadlincote.

You know I've not being taking any details of the various selection boxes as their price of £1 was no good:rotfl:. Fortunately, I have managed to start getting the information of a few.

The Black Contrast versions of the plates and the bowl that are on my list at £1:( have now gone down to 75p:). That is definitely not store-specific.

Today (or rather yesterday Monday) was not about the APG and potential new offers, instead it was about picking up items that Savvy doesn't have at all on his (therefore useless) price collection as there is no indication of their existence at all in any of the 23 previous stores used!

I'm still picking up new items, that I have no information of from elsewhere before, in every new store visited. This isn't what I expected: I would have imagined that my main M stores would stock virtually everything, apart from, obviously, some local or regional items being available elsewhere but not to me. However, it's not local or regional items: it's items in general. And I'll find an item, completely new to me, in one store now. And then, later, I'll find it again in another store (despite only having it in one out of the previous over 20 stores), together with yet more items that aren't available in any of the other stores I've seen.

I'm also identifying items that are better than ones that I already have on the list from elsewhere! So, I will put these better value versions on the list too but, possibly like the ones that are already there, they are not available in most stores. They are available in possibly 1, 2 or 3 stores out of 35. However, with M at over 500 stores, that could be 40 stores nationwide. So you may well have one near you! I'll keep the old items - that I'm now aware are not as good value although they appeared to be quite good value - on the list as you may have only these items available to you. Or probably/possibly none at all:(:rotfl:.

It could even be the case that items in my regular stores are available nowhere else. Or that there are lots of items in other stores that aren't available in any of mine (my usual regular 6 which I alternate between - and, occasionally, go a bit wider to 8 or 9).

You'd think that my last store last night (Monday) would be one where I'd surely now have most of the items already and therefore would have fewer further ones to add! However, this was not the case. I finally arrived there at just after 9.30pm (with the store due to close at 10) and found just how useless I am... it was like I had messed up my price collection and completely missed a load of items!:rotfl::rotfl: Just absolutely more that have not been in - or even any SEL pointing to their existence in - any of the previous 34 stores. After I discovered the eye-opener of whole, complete new ranges of products that I have never seen before earlier in the day.

You'll have to bear with me as I have a lot of information to update - I have more than I get from even a normal price collection:rotfl::rotfl::eek::rotfl:. This is not even offers - instead, mainly new good items. Or, probably, old ones that have been there for ages unknown to me:rotfl:.

The M Cherries sweets at 23p have turned up again:rotfl:. In fact, virtually every item that I have had at good RTC price in the past year is probably still available in M somewhere. I suspect the Savers Disposable Razors at 18p are available to someone somewhere, although I haven't seen them yet from only the 35 stores I've seen. I might even find the Zebra Ring Binder that eventually ended up with 68p price before disappearing completely from my one local store that still had it before I could catch it in stock at that price! Based on what I now know, it's going to be there somewhere now surely? I could even find the Savers Can Opener at 48p that was never in stock in my main store! There's not even been a SEL for that for many months, and none anywhere else at all for me, causing me to delete the item from my list as I assumed M no longer stocked it.

So, the "RTC" (or former RTC) items are still available to some of you somewhere and at least those I've now found will go back onto the list. I am still getting more and more at every store. Today will be, largely, a day at home for me (as planned) and getting my lists to reflect the information I've now got! Tomorrow (Wednesday) will be the normal price collection, whatever I can make of it, in my usual 2 or 3 useless local stores:rotfl:. As useless as any 2 or 3 anywhere in the country seemingly would be, at least to some extent.

M now still has, in some of its stores;), some M own brand single light bulbs at £1 each. I have been waiting for these come down further in one of my local stores, but they have never done so. I can't put them onto my list as I've therefore not taken any information of them and there will be lots of different versions of them, all in different stores:rotfl:. However, some of you will be at a complete loss if you go and look at your nearest M store's shelf: whilst a rare store has a large range of them, and some have a few, you may go to your local store and see none at all:rotfl::rotfl:.

I can now see it from your POV at different stores. You may be looking at items on my list and thinking 'where is Savvy coming from as there's absolutely none of this in my store?':huh: and wondering if I'm on a different planet as I seem to be checking some place that isn't anywhere like your M store:rotfl:. Then, you'll have seen me saying items have cleared out and M no longer stocks them, yet, if you go to your M - what is Savvy doing deleting these items?:eek: - they have continued to be there and, in a minority of stores it seems, still are.

I say "it seems", because it could be that every store other than the ones I've happened to visit still has them:rotfl:. However, judging from the pattern I've seen - if there is any pattern - this is unlikely as I visit further stores and they do not duplicate the items I have in a minority of the stores so far. The items do appear occasionally in later stores afterwards, but most do not have them. However - I can never know if my set of stores is any guide!

Anyway so, instead of me putting my own local stores' items on the list, none of which are available to you, we'll now have more items for all of us, none of which any of us can find:rotfl::rotfl:. Some of you will now find some items - including ones I've been missing for ages - in your store(s). There are bound to be further items that I do not know of because they are in none of my 35 stores. I'm absolutely useless:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: - you may look at the 'shelves' on my M list, go down to your nearest store to look at the shelves and see a really really good priced item there... and I've not got it on the list at all! Open your eyes, Savvy, how can you not be noticing it?!?:mad::huh: I am opening my eyes - and it's just not there, at all, in any of the 35 stores I've now checked. As near-unbelievable as that may seem. Folks, it is the case!:)

I wouldn't put it past credibility the some of the RTC coffees that went to really good £1 price that I said, months ago, have now all gone might still be around in some few M stores somewhere. So, do have a look on your shelves in your M(s) - if you find them, I probably haven't got round to visiting your store yet:rotfl:. I can't be everywhere!:eek::eek::rotfl: Ah, it is good fun. There may well be some, that somehow just got hidden behind stock, weren't price-marked, they forgot to put a price up, no-one bought them and they have remained there on the shelf all along!

The "RTC" items that I'm finding are still available, somewhere, even if not apparently widely (then again they could be available widely but just happen to have cleared in the stores I've checked), are generally not marked as RTC on the shelves in the stores in which they are now still available. M does have these products therefore. It's possible that, if that were a price collection store, for either APG or TBG, with them not being marked for TBG, that they could pick up the price of items on their price check schemes.

Indeed, since every store has items that other stores don't have whilst also having items, including some of those same ones, that are available in other stores elsewhere that also don't stock (etc...), they may pick up whatever they get in their selected stores. So, some of the RTC items may work, but not all of them as those ones aren't in any of their 3/6 stores - it may be unlikely with some - or even most - of them as they may be available in 1-3 out of 35 stores, but then they could happen to pick the one store that stocks the item! All these items (on my list) are available in some M store somewhere. It must now be becoming more likely, as I have checked more stores, that one (possibly even two but I feel still unlikely at this stage) of them will be a price collection store (although that is not the aim of this at all btw). Therefore, everything that I have picked up in that store may stand a good chance of working.

The latest update on the Quorn Steak Strips is that I now have two 'errant' SELs but I have seen no stock anywhere in any of the 35 stores. (33 out of the 35 have no indication of the existence of the product at all.) I have not seen any stock at all for months in any of my regular stores. However, you know what guide they are:rotfl:. If that other store happens to be a price collection store (assuming the APG collectors haven't changed the stores they go to from the last time they picked it up), then the Rowntree's Randoms are also stocked in that store. Unfortunately the store has no SEL for them showing:(:rotfl:.:p

As regards the initial point, about looking for items in your store, such as the coffees, you very likely will not find them. In any store, they are not likely to be there. However, surely I feel now, they must be in some store? However, even if you don't find them - and if you don't look, you certainly won't but, if you do, you never know - you might:money: - you will in any case find other items that - unless I've already visited your store (and of course new items could come and go after I've been and gone), if I was to go to that store, I would consider to be good enough that I should be taking the details!
