Ebuyer.com lying about next day delivery

I just bought a computer off Ebuyer. Paid for next day delivery (Friday) and extra for pre noon delivery. Gets to half 12 and it's still not here so I phone parcel force who tell me it's not due to be delivered until Monday. So I phone ebuyer who said because of the size of it it has to go on a "special delivery" which is a 48 hour service. Surely if next day delivery isn't possible for that item it should say that before you pay for next day delivery which sounds to me like false advertising which the woman from ebuyer assured me it wasn't. I was also told I cannot get the money I paid for delivery back or any compensation.

Depends on when you bought it and what it stated when ordering.

Next day ending up as Monday is entirely reasonable (on the face of it) if, for example, you bought it late on Thursday.

Doesn't the site usually say what day it will be delivered when you select the delivery type?

If the order is placed before 6pm and next day delivery chosen and paid for then the service should be provided and if the order is placed between 6pm and 11pm next day delivery is still available for an additional £1 on top of the normal next day delivery charge.
