Santander shares

Hi there
I am just looking for some thoughts and opinions on Santander shares. I have a very small holding - harking back to the days of the Abbey National sell off I think. I haven't given these much thought until lately and see that the Santander share price seems to be on a steady downward dive. I'm not at all up to date with what's going on in the markets, so would approeciate any thoughts on what to do - keep or ditch them now. I've got 100 shares, so hardly big money.
Many thanks

If they are the only shares you have then I would ditch them and reinvest the money in a balanced fund in a S&S ISA. You're not then exposed to the fate of one company in one sector which could go bust as investors in Northern Rock and B&B found out.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0
