Pontins holiday parks

Hi,
Want a cheap get away mon-fri or fri-mon?

Have a look at pontins, they have a few holiday parks around the country and if you look on groupon, there is a offer for £59 for selected dates.

All entertainment is included, there are a few extra (quad ect), my lil girl loves it and we nirmally go twice a year.

The apartments are quite dated but for £60 it's s bargain, well in my opinion anyway.

No thanks. I took my kids to Brean Sands a while ago, and it was disgusting. They offered us a free short break as compensation, and told us that the park was being upgraded. When we returned a few months later, after the so-called upgrade, it was just as bad. The second visit, though, was worse in a way, as the chalet was filthy. Not just a bit that the cleaner had missed, but filthy.

I wouldn't waste my money.

Pontins is cheap and usually available when no other place is for a reason.
It's reputation,and you don't get a bad reputation from the majority of travellers,and get on TV programs like don't get done,get don without fair reason.
However I'm tempted by Pontins Pakefield.
It has a very decent reputation for Pontins,same cheap Pontins prices,and Trip Advisor gives away no warning lights.

We normally go to Prestatyn I north wales. It's £60 so we don't expect a 5 star apartment.

The entertainment is good aswel.

have been to pontin Camber sands a few times in the past. It was OK. and some of the best entertainment i have seen in UK holiday parks.

However, the parks ARE dated now, and need a lot of work to bring them up to more than just "acceptable"

Because it's Pontins I look at it from outside the box.
More people think it's excellent or very good than any other rating.
I wouldn't take my daughter,just the Grandchildren and it would never be first choice but I would be willing to give it a chance as third choice and review it afterwards.
Don't think I can tell people to never go to Pontins unless I've been there myself.
I don't do that anyhow,I just advise them to check trip advisor before thinking about booking.
