Double Glazing - Essex recommendations?

Hi,
Despite being a longtime MSE viewer, I've finally signed up as I need some advice from you Yoda-like regulars.
Basically, I've finally decided to take the plunge and invest in double glazing. From reading previous posters, it seems best to avoid the big boys - but who do I turn to instead?
In other words, has anyone out there got a FENSA-registered builder/glazer they'd recommend in the East London/Essex area - I live in Chadwell Heath, midway between Ilford and Romford.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give - it's MUCH appreciated!

Don't touch SOLAR (windows or installations or whatever they call themselves these days.
They are one that winds up, changes it's name and you are left in trouble.:j Trytryagain FLYLADY - SAYE £700 each month Premium Bonds £713 Mortgage Was £100,000@20/6/08 now zilch 21/4/15:beer: WTL - 52 (I'll do it 4 MUM)0 -
I can recommend a company called Insuglaze based in Pinner, Middlesex who I know travel fair distances to install so may be worth giving them a ring. I put off having my windows done for years as I hated the thought of double glazing salesmen in my house! A friend recommended them and I have since recommended them to lots of people - four of them have had work done - all are happy.
We had all our windows replaced, front door and French doors and they were brilliant. The salesman, Derek, was very friendly, down to earth and not at all pushy. The price was competitive, the lead time less than other firms quoted and the duration of the job less than other firms quoted. The installers were polite, very efficient and cleaned up after themselves. A year on and I am still thrilled with the result.

I hope this helps! :j0
