Right To Buy- Scotland - High Council Valuation

It highlights a problem of social housing. In our 95% council property area a 3 bed semi detached large house, monoblock drive, brick garage went for less than £48,000. Less than a mile away an all private estate 3 bed semi etc £165,000.
The area is not so bad. But the fear of buying a house and getting that antisocial tenant next to you drives the council area tenant's price down. Unfortunately, the District Valuer's algorithms can't take that into account.0 -
Right to Buy properties should be sold at the same value as if Private Sale properties.
People who were forced to rent privately because they were never given the opportunity to rent a council property are not privvy to the same sort of deal.
Fair??? I don't think so !!0
