Problem using Bing to open web pages.

This is happening on my Son’s laptop.
He uses Bing to search, types in the required company name, such as a holiday company.
The page opens and when he clicks on say Airport Choice and selects an airport from the dropdown menu, a duplicate page opens and the original page freezes.
If he tries to use the duplicate page the same thing happens.
He has the pop-up blocker enabled. Re-set his security to high. But this does not stop the above happening.
He has also scanned his computer, but nothing was found.
When he uses Google to search it works OK, with none of the above.
