Glitch with tesco bank emails

Had a letter from Tesco Bank saying they tried to send an email to me which failed, saying that I should log on and update my email address.
After speaking to them on the phone they told me this was a glitch that was affecting everyone who had a @btinternet.com email address and not to worry about it.
