Thank you PCMcGarry and you are quite correct.

Neilmcl, please accept my sincere apologies.

To you both, this has been going on for a couple of weeks now and its becoming a little stressful, mainly because I am getting conflicting information, in my last correspondence yesterday I have given the trader up to close of business tomorrow to agree to money back or I will be employing a solicitor, any good one's out there?
  • So thanks for the reply neilmcl but I dont think you have a clue what you are on about.

So says the person who wants to know if they can reject something under the consumer credit act 2015 which is a bit of a stupid question considering that
a/ they didn't purchase the car on credit but paid with a debit card and,
b/ there is no such legislation as the consumer credit act 2015.

I stand corrected Hermione Granger, I meant to say consumer rights act.

So thanks for the reply neilmcl but I dont think you have a clue what you are on about. My question in my original post is to hear other peoples experiences under the 'short term right to reject'
Sorry, didn't realise you had all the answers, what was I thinking of.

    I'm out.
  • I am currently going through a right to reject on a vehicle and wondering how your situation ended. Did you find a solicitor? Did you get your money back? Would love to know if you have any advice.

The original poster hasn't been back in 18 months so probably won't be back now to update.

If you have a problem read the sticky at the top of the board and start your own thread using the template giving as much detail as possible.
