Hi..our old Dyson falling to bits....also.new pup tries to chew through cable! Are the cordless models worth the money...any other comments welcome . Thanks.

Don't bother with cordless Dyson!
I've got 2 and they are always cutting out even when fully charged! My sister has the same problem with hers I also know at least one other person who has had the problem!:mad:0 -
That happens when you've sucked up something too large and it's blocking the vacuum. You just need to drop the bin down, empty it, and carry on.Don't bother with cordless Dyson!

I have both and have no problems with either. The upright is used most of the time, the small one just for spot cleaning or doing the stairs quickly.
I prefer the upright but like the ease of using the hand-held sometimes!0
