I won with Sales Gossip on Day 10 of their advent. I personally felt it was not right to then enter any more of the advents from Sales Gossip. Don't know why but it just did not sit right with me as I did not want them thinking I was greedy. The best things in life are free.....0

I don't win very often but did recently win a holiday on the Monarch advent. At that point I stopped entering , partly because of the nature of the prize but also because I thought it very unlikely they would let someone win twice and didn't want to waste my time. In general, if I win an ongoing competition I do not carry on entering as I have been lucky enough to win and think it fair enough to let others have their turn but when a new competition starts I would certainly feel it reasonable to enter. I don't think there is any reason not to enter with the same company again , unless like Bauer they specify that you can't. If I was super lucky and won lots of prizes I would probably think twice but I am not!0

Yes I know what you mean, I won with Kwik Fit advent quite early on (think about day 5) so I didn't enter any more of their advents.0 -
there was a competition a few years ago, think it was run by a wine company on Facebook, where they gave away 100 National Trust Day passes every month and you could enter every day, think I won either 4 or 5 of them as there was no reason you couldn't win more than once!0

Unless it says otherwise, I enter again straight away.
Planet Rock do a competition every Tuesday called their Tuesday Rider and I've won it twice in 5 weeks recently. First time I won 15 Queen Albums on CD and a DVD and the second one (23 December) was one of their advent ones which was a signed t-shirt, Led Zeppelin CD back catalogue, LPs, other CDs and Festival tickets with camping which alone are nearly £400. I even came clean and told the DJ the second time I had only spoken to him a month or so before because he asked if I was lucky and win a few competitions or was it a rarity (he didn't realise I had won a matter of weeks before even though it was him who called then too).:easter:0 -
I know the discussion isn't speficifially about Heart but I was entering one of their comps so thought I'd have a look. From Heart's T&C's they inform you in writing if you can't enter their comps after a win over £1,000: http://www.heart.co.uk/terms-conditions/competition/#uxs6vgulXlWFTPR5.97
2.4 So that we can ensure the fairness of our competitions, we reserve the right to prevent you, at our absolute discretion, from entering any of our Competitions for a period of six months if you have either (i) won a Prize valued at £1,000 or greater or (ii) won more than one Prize during the previous six months. If we choose to exercise this right we will notify you in writing.Best wins; GoPro, £2K, Brittany week, festival tix twice, Bath break, Sweden spa break, iPhone x2, £250 Amazon x2, tech bundle, 55" TV, Haven break, £1K, Smeg mixer, 3 night spa break, Greenhouse, posh tent, house plants, 2 pairs boots, posh mattress, year tailored supps, £250 lingerie, £150 buyagift, £250 hotel0 -
If a draw is truly random, it should not affect your chances at all of winning again. The chances will be purely based on how many people enter each particular competition... unless the company has a policy not to give out another prize to the same person, of course.2015 wins: set of Baileys Prize for Fiction shortlist books, 2 books (Goodreads), case of Tornado energy drink, The Incomplete Tim Key book, Spoilt Pig tote bag, British Library exhibition tickets, Pixels Limited Edition Blu Ray0

i dont think it wold bother me unless it wa sin the rules that i couldnt enter againWhat goes around-comes around0

If the T&C's permitted then it would then depend on the prize and if it was something I wanted more than one of or not.0

Thanks everyone for your kind replies. I think I'll waiver my 4-month-wait policy from now on then! (Unless T&Cs state otherwise of course)
Not sure why I had the assumption that the same winner wouldn't be selected twice within a short space of time - but you've proved me wrong!
Thanks again for taking the time to respond0
