Hi all,
I need some advice, I am moving to the US and wanted to know if I am able to use my Xbox in the us with a standard adapter. My Xbox has been modified so has a internal hard disk which I use to store music and picture etc.
Any help advice would be great.
Thanks

hi there, you have a few options.
you can use a step up transformer 110 to 240v or if your tech minded just replace the internal PSU with a USA spec one.
its a simple job
6 torx bolts to open the case
another 3 to remove the hard drive caddy/dvd drive
then 4 to remove the PSU and unclip the power connector to the motherboard.
although you need to identify you motherboard version to get the correct PSU0 -

Don't forget that if you are using the Xbox through a TV then you will have problems due to the difference in TV formats (PAL/NTSC).0
