Historical PPI with John Lewis over ten years ago

Hi All
Whilst clearing out an old drawer I found some credit card statements from over ten years ago that show I was paying monthly PPI on a John Lewis credit card. Has anyone had a similar experience and found it successful in claiming back the PPI?
I'd be very interested to hear how others have done this and how I should go about it. I've read lots about claiming back PPI from banks but John Lewis are not a bank. All and any advice much appreciated.
Kind regards

You forgot to give any circumstances for anyone to decide if their case is similar. Why do you think the PPI was mis-sold/What would be your complaint reasons?
