  • Okay the 3DS re-release/port of Pok!mon Red/Blue/Yellow was released today (20th anniversary! God I feel so old) at £8.99 each. I got Red and Yellow which puts me £1.98 over budget on that for this month.

i really don't buy games very often so it's more of a "yearly budget" sort of deal.

Also hilariously over on my clothing. Had to get another pair of leopard boots because the others were... just the worst pair of shoes I've ever owned. £25. And a new limited edition "Archaeology Time" (Adventure Time/Indiana Jones crossover" t-shirt. I'm an Egypt/Archaeologist in training I couldn't not.

    Pok!mon and cartoon-themed t-shirts I swear I'm an adult.

Prob be over clothes budget at the end of the year I just sort of guessed at my amounts? But I'll have a clearer idea for next year if I keep track! Limited edition tees are my weakness, guys.

    Cosmetics £6 / 0 :(
    Clothes £68.47 / 32
    Tea £47.68 / 49.88
    Games £17.98 / 16
    Books £16.56 / 78.22

    Total £156.69 / 176.10

So still under budget overall just over in a few categories? I can live with that.

Hope everyone had a fab budget-busting month!

Having lost the discs amongst various house-moves an age ago, I re-bought some Sims 3 expansions for cheap totalling £36.82 for 5 of them.

Definitely going to have to adjust my budgets. Spending WAY less on books than I thought and more in other areas (although the overall spend is still within budget, just the divvying-up needs to change)

£20.88 on 2 books that actually cost £3.12 of my own money after vouchers and discounts etc.

Nothing spent on cosmetics this month. I don't have any budget for next month either so think I'm... going to re-adjust my categories. Honestly my book budget is up to almost £130 on rollover now.

    I will take the book budget down from £50 to £35 (-15) a month, increase cosmetics/toiletries from £15 to £20 (+5), and games from £10 to £20 (+10).

    This month
    Books £33.52 / 111.66
    Cosmetics/toiletries £0 / 0
    Games £36.82 / 0
    Tea £36.57 / 42.20
    Clothing £0 / 0

    Total £106.91 / 153.86

Budgets for next month, then, with adjustments

    Books: £35 + 78.14 accumulated rollover: £113.14
    Cosmetics/toiletries: £2.45
    Games: £0 (-8.80)
    Tea: £45.63
    Clothing: £3.53

    Total £164.75

    Alright. Check-in time.

Got 3 new tea forte blends for £37.50 and bumped up my hot choc collection (some of the options ones were running low and a couple jars were on offer) in my monthy grocery shop for £13.39 - £50.89 / 45.63

Lots of book buying this month!
Spent £38.14 on a 5-book order at the beginning of the month
Helped someone out by buying a £15 AGC from them and used £14.51 of that on a further 5 (1p each + postage).
Just now cashed out a £15 AGC from valuedopinions so put that + the other 49p from the last one towards a £19.84 3-book order - £72.49 / £113.14

No cosmetics, clothing, or game spends to report yet

Sorry I've been so rubbish at checking in; works been busy and im using the overtime to knock down last debt so taking all thats going. Have been pretty much sticking to the figures I set, £22.79 on food so far this month and £150 overpaid to CC from last weeks overtime. Did spend £18.74 in charity shop on books and a couple bits for the house but they were ones I need for my course and sould have been £178.96 so not too bad an overspend I'm thinking? Hope everyone else is doing well
