change of name and credit file

Hi there,
In a nut shell my first name has been printed as my middle name on my official documents, passport and driving licence probably down to me and my father who originally did the forms.
I've never challenged to get this pushed as i thought nothing of it so ive stuck with it and thought anything of it.
Now on my credit file my middle name is first name (the way i want it) but on my offical documents it isnt, can this be changed? If so and how If i cant and start using my name according to the documents names (in the printed order) will this effect my credit file, reason i ask is that ive got several years of good account management and i cannot risk.
Plus i dont want to be re-apply for credit card with a different name as it would mean closing my accounts and re-applying.
I might aswell change my documents to the correct names (order of names) and keep everything how it is.
Many thanks

Probably nothing to worry about. I have two Christian names and I'm known by the second one. When applying for credit I normally use just this name and there's never been a problem - expect when I applied for a mortgage 20 odd years ago and the two names were the wrong way round (one of the names is uncommon). The jerks at Halifax rejected the application.0

its probably worth me changing my names to the correct order.
o.k what the process, anyone have any experience and rough cost, im assuming ive got to pay for another passport and driving licence as part of the change? Shame as my licence was only re-newed two years ago along with my passport.0
