Lake District Log cabins?

Hi guys


We are looking for a short 4/5 night stay in lake district, possible near Grasmere, trying to find a log cabin that's nice and not too pricey, searched different places like centre parcs etc but cant seem to find anything, anyone stayed in a nice log cabin/cottage at decent price and know websites for this? hotels seem to be about £480 for 4 nights which I understand are pricey as its the Lakes?

We always us Cumbrian Cottages for self catering in the Lake district. We've found them professional and reliable.

I've just looked and they have 48 "log cabins" on their website. Might be worth checking them out

There are then a number of privately owned lodges and cabins that don't feature with any of these but you will have to do a bit of searching for these.

However, a lot will be covered by these.
