If you register a Starbucks Card this month, you'll be a Gold Member directly. Usually you have to buy 50 drinks to get there.
Gold benefits:
-Free Drink every 15 drinks
-Free Extra Shots
-Free Syrup
-Free Whipped Cream
-Free Origin Espresso
http://www.starbucks.co.uk/
Deal price 5 pounds, because that's the minimum amount you can purchase IIRC.

One minor correction, its 15 visits to get a free drink (and 50 visits for gold), you only get one star each transaction. So 15 drinks in seperate transactions will get you a free one, but 15 drinks in one total will only earn one star.0

Easier and cheaper to make drinks (coffee, tea, etc.) at home, put it a flask if going to work, etc. rather than wasting money at Starbucks or MDonalds.0

Cheaper, of course. Just as it's cheaper to buy a bottle of wine and drink it on a park bench.stephenliverpool1 wrote: »Easier and cheaper to make drinks (coffee, tea, etc.) at home, put it a flask if going to work, etc. rather than wasting money at Starbucks or MDonalds.
Not sure you get quite the same social experience with a group of friends, though.........0 -

Wot like inviting friends around your place, sharing you flask of coffee at work, etc. ? rather than wasting money at Starbucks or Mdonalds ?0 -
Thanks for this post, I got my card yesterday.
The member of staff I spoke to advised me if buying more than one drink, to put them through as separate transactions so that you accumulate the rewards more quickly .
Looking at the T&Cs you get a free drink on your birthday as well as the free syrups & whipped cream.
I also read that When you purchase a Filter Coffee to stay the UK or Ireland, after you finish you can enjoy a Tall Filter Coffee refill.
Has anyone done this ?0
