Any New Freeview Channels Coming

I was listening to a programme on Radio 4 about broadcasting. It stated that a lot of these +1 channels will be going in the future and will be consolidated in to one channel you can select and play previous programmes. Like the radio on BBC which has all the programmes for the previous week. Do this and the +1 channels become redundant. ITV2 ITV3 for example tend to run the same progs on a different schedule will merge0
