statuory redundancy payment terms

Help!!
I was made reudndant on dec 22nd, the company have gone into liquidation so I will receive statuory redundancy pay and notice / holiday pay from the government. if I get a new job immediately will this affect how much I receive from that pot ?? is there a time limit on gaining new employment? I have been there over 5 years so I dont want to miss out on anything I am owed if it means holding back on a new job for a few weeks?......

Hi - the same thing is about to happen to me so I am beginning to find out exactly what I am due. There seems to be a big query over being paid my notice period. Did you get an answer about this? What stage are you at now?0
