What to look for in a new leather suite

Whilst in some ways it pains me to recommend them as their customer service is so poor in some respects, delux deco sell some quality leather sofas for unbeatable prices, I found. I found it best to order samples of leather from various companies to compare. The samples that I got from a reputable company selling UK produced sofas were seriously wafer thin (can't recall exactly which company but one generally recommended), compared with what delux deco were offering (they import from the far east I believe). Their top grain leather samples were really nice and thick. I also tried scratching the surface of the samples with a key or similar just to see how it would hold up again the delux deco products were streets ahead. When I had a furniture repair chap round for something else I told him how much I paid for the sofa and he commented that he couldn't have even bought the top grain leather in this country for the price I paid for the entire sofa0
