the scam is not to get your £4, its to run with your item!!0 -
If you are so concerned you can ask him for the booking reference number and to book the parcel as being dropped off at the depot, and take it there yourself where the DHL staff will give you signed manifest paperwork.0

some of the feedback he has received is over a week old and there has been no follow ups to say it's a scam which I'm sure after a week there would have been, I think it looks ok personally.0

There are a few things that do seem fishy.
The payment cheque/p.o and after collection
I would guess its a low budget operation, manual forms etc.
You could always book a PPD and one of these and see if they come to collect the parcels together..As long as you get the parcel to a confirmed DHL driver the parcel should arrive at its destination. You should always get a proffesional POD consignee note on collection.
My regular DHL collection driver is pretty good to be honest, and never had any probs with they're delivery either.
All ideas have to start somewhere!0 -
Don't they usually have some sort of uniform? My DHL driver this afternoon had a fleece on with DHL embroidered on. He also told me the reason my parcels hadn't been collected in the morning was that the other driver had mistaken an empty neighbouring house for mine.0

I have used them, next day £5. Waited in one day and they didnt turn up to collect it, turns out the guy didnt process the order properly. He replied quickly (and personally) and got things sorted relatively quickly for pick up the following day. For £5 next day delivery I can't complain

Still advertising the £4 service this morning. Sometimes things can be too cheap! I've just booked a collection with MH couriers direct
They take paypal and its very easy to use with a choice of DHL or Parcelforce from £6.85.0 -
I've been using MH direct for parcelforce deliveries, unfortunately parcelforce messed up big-style this week, first, they didn't collect on the booked day, when I rang my depot and complained, they promised to collect first thing the next day (weds), the driver rolled up at 1pm! they promised it was on priority 24 hr service, my customer emailed me yesterday because the tracking was showing nothing - it had been left in Coventry when it should have gone to Gatwick and been delivered before 1pm yesterday - Parcelforce are blaming everyone but themselves.
The tracking now shows it is finally out for delivery - 2 days late!
At least when I book through payperdrop, I get a credit for a free delivery if DHL mess up, no such luck with parcelforce, according to the guy I spoke to at MH direct.
I think all the couriers are the same , fine when everything works - a total nightmare and will take no responsibility when things go wrong."There is a light that never goes out"0 -
No problem with my collection by DHL via MH direct tracking info put through letterbox and parcel taken from porch, must be my usual driver!0
