What do you use your attic for and is it insulated at floor level?0

#11 - spot on, phil. Took both of us to do roof and floor, which is still fine.
Floor: used heavy-duty mdf boarding over foil+insulation, counter-sunk screwed. Good carboot and CS wool rugs were laid over these.
