How easy is it to replace the battery on the original hudl
The Hudl is probably around over 2 years old now and the battery is not lasting at all. My little daughter just uses it only for watching youtube.
I have seen this:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/tesco-hudl-battery-new-1st-generation-/221984026995?hash=item33af477173:g:eooAAOSw9r1WDoTs
How easy is it to fit this?
also how much extra life do you think this will give over the current battery?
Thanks

Thanks mate
but don't really want to spend £29 as I said the hudl is only used for youtube by my little daughter and nothing else as I have an iPad.
The battery I mentioned above from ebay will this be good enough as this looks like a reasonable price.0 -

Should take about five minutes to replace the battery.0 -
Beware cheap ebay batteries... Lithium batteries can be a fire hazard if not treated properly and cheap ripoff ones maybe faulty before you get them.
Lots of clampdowns on shipping lithium batteries.

I've done a few. The most difficult part is prying the back from the screen. You need a fairly thin prying tool to get into the gap. I've had some pretty much jump apart and others where I've had to glide around the edge a few times with two or three prying tools (one with a scalpel ).0

Where did you actually buy the battery from?0 -
Better to plunk it on Ebay for £10 and buy an Amazon Kindle Fire for £60?0

look for a seller (business) on ebay FROM THE UK , check their address and name , do not be fooled by dispatched from Manchester and a chinease name and address , check the delivery times , anyone that says 10 days + is not UK , anyone that gives a 3-5 days with an option for 1st class or courier will be UK.
they will all be made in china , but a unit bought in the UK will work , or will be returnable at no cost , unlike china sellers
not a lot of help I know ,
this is a UK supplier , and can even deliver to argos , so must post from the UK , not china http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tesco-Hudl-1st-Generation-Genuine-Replacement-Battery-/391338441355?hash=item5b1d96ba8b:g:ei0AAOSwT6pVudBvSave a Rachael
