canceling mbna platinum card ?

Hi new to this but...
I've just been accepted with a mbna platinum credit card to make 2 balance transfers to the total of £3000
But after accepting the card I was given a £2000 limit
So only able to transfer 1 card.
So I was wondering if I can cancel the card before the transfer goes through ??

If you cancel it and can't get another card, or the limit is even lower, then you've shot yourself in the foot big time!

Take the card, make the c£1,900 BT, and apply somewhere else to take the shortfall. And do it quickly before the MBNA card, it's limit, and it's balance appear on your credit files.

I agree it would be foolish to cancel.

MBNA have offered to lend you £2,000 so don't be ungrateful!

Look on it that you are 2/3rds of the way to your £3000 target.

If you cancel you are back to square one, with no guarantee you will be accepted for any other offers
