  • Why not refuse delivery of the replacement and email tesco telling them what you have done. A thank you from them should be enough reward.

why, thousands of people would keep something that expensive, i know the answer is honesty but vouchers off food for something that expensive isnt that bad of a suggestion as a token for being honest.
you didnt answer my question so only helpful posts please.
am i liable or is it in my right to keep it.

No, it is not your right to keep it. Helpful enough?

If you only want to hear people giving you permission to be dishonest why bother posting here.

In fact I suspect this is another one of those wind-up posts. They are still on holiday aren't they?

I wouldn't bank on it, there are so many people around who wouldn't think twice about screwing someone else over as long as it benefited them. It's just the way everything is nowadays and I for one do not like it one bit.

Hear, hear. Get something for nothing (however it is acquired), blame others for every misfortune, and if in doubt find someone from whom to claim compensation!

you guys act like if you found 1000 pounds in the street you would straight take it to police without thinking hmmm maybe i could pay a bit off X,Y and Z.

Em no acting here, I certainly would take it straight to the police station and not even consider spending 1 pence of someone else's money.... That is dishonest and imo only someone who has the morals of a drugged up alley cat would even think about it..
