Have had a reply from Satsuma via email. "we are happy to deal with your request, however we need written confirmation to our head office also enclose a £10 admin fee."
So need to do that then
Hi,
What exactly have you asked them for ?
As it sounds like they are treating this as a subject access request.
If its just a breakdown of the loans you had from them, just ask for a statement of account.
You can make your complaint a generic one, without knowing all the details, just ask for a refund of interest and charges on all accounts I held with you.

Thanks again Sour
I asked them the same as everyone else (which i got from the excellent site you gave me) will copy below
"
Dear Sirs
Please send me a breakdown of all the loans I have had from you, showing for each loan:
– the date it was taken out
– whether it was topped up or rolled into another loan
– whether any payments were missed or were late
– the date the loan was repaid or the current outstanding balance
– the interest and charges that were added to each loan
– whether you performed a credit check before lending the money initially and on any rollover. "
Thanks again Sour
Have replied asking them to actually read my original email.

Right, ok,
Yes that could be construed as a SAR, and the creditor can charge you in that case.
Maybe if you simply send a letter asking for a statement of account, you will get the information that's mostly relevant, for nothing.
But if your happy to pay, that's fine.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Thanks Sour
Quickquid replied to that without asking for a fee. If Satsuma keep on that line ill just reply asking for a statement on the account
Thanks
Have updated contact form0 -
Just as i close the thread i get a very detailed reply from Lending Stream with a lot of information.
It is very very defensive almost aggressive as if they know i am going to log a complaint next
Not sure i hold much hope but at least a reply and an acknowledgement.0 -
Have sent formal complaint via email (adapted) to Lending Stream.
I suppose even if they are not going to wipe the whole thing, the hideous charges could be removed (borrowed 2 amounts of £135 total balance is nearly £750!)
Lending Stream are a particularly horrific company, just going back through my emails the amount of faux threats of home visits from there "home recovery team" was and is disgusting.
Have again updated contact post.
