Hi all,
I'm looking for a reasonable hotel in Barcelona for 5 nights for under about £150 in the city centre. There are four or five of us going so i have found one hotel which offers a double room at £160 (3 star) so thats £80 per person basically but its quite far from the city centre.
Any suggestions welcome.

Note quite sure whether you mean 5 nights for £100, or less than £100 per night! I've used the Hotel Europark, which is pleasant enough and about 10mins walk from Las Ramblas. Quick check on Expedia shows rooms from £78 per night - last time we stayed, we paid £87 for a double including breakfast.

look at www.travelsupermarket.com for hotels
but as there's a few of you try looking at private apartments- of which there are loads www.ownersdirect.co.uk
www.holiday-rentals.com for starters0 -
I've just booked my mom and dad into the Oasis Hotel a budget two star in the centre of Barcelona. The cost for 5 nights B&B was £180.00 all in. The cheapest web site to book it on was http://www.asiarooms.com/hotels2.php#hotelstart
The reviews on trip advisor were pretty good but in the last week (after I'd booked) their has been two negative ones. I'm keeping my fingers crossed it is just a bleep!:oBut if ever I stray from the path I follow
Take me down to the English Channel
Throw me in where the water is shallow And then drag me on back to shore!
'Cos love is free and life is cheap As long as I've got me a place to sleep
Clothes on my back and some food to eat I can't ask for anything more0 -
I'd recommend doing a search on venere.com - really helpful website with lots of good maps/reviews, and reasonable prices too (which you also don't have to pay in advance)
PM me if you want a 4% discount code.
I think it's a good idea to check out this website even if you find hotels cheaper elsewhere, as the descriptions and maps are generally better than other sites in my opinion.
Hope that helps
PS - I'm not connected to this website in any way, and I don't gain anything from this post. I also found the discount code on another forum.0 -
I know you asked for a hotel but we have just booked an apartment on www.lovingbarcelona.com. That way you could all be in the same apartment and it may work out cheaper than a hotel. The one we have chosen is in a street off the main La Ramblas so should be a bit quieter. Good luck and have a fab time.

I've stayed at the Hotel Moneygal right at the top of Las Ramblas a few years ago for about €50 per person, inc b/fst
Its very basic, and you have to go through a jewellry store to access it !! But its clean and very central
Well worth looking into
