Hi,
Any information would be greatly appreciated...
Visiting Goa for the first time next month and would like to have dentistry work and glasses made (have prescription).
Can anyone suggest dentists and opticians which been tried and tested :j
Also any good restaurants locally in the Candolim area (not a big fish eater but hubby is).
Many thanks :A:A

Your best bet is to check out the Goa board on Tripadvisor, lots of excellent information on there - including sorting your visa out if you've not done that already.0

Exactly how much does a visa cost for a one-off 2 week holiday to Goa?
Every time I look onthe TA forum for Goa I see different prices and/or entry qualifications.
Considering the amount of dosh that British holiday makers contribute to the local economy the Entry Requirements should be simple and inexpensive.0 -
TBH, Pete, I don't know anymore.
We've given Goa a miss this season so our only option was the 6 month visa which cost - -IIRC - £82.20.
I believe this has just been increased.
Not sure about the cost of the Evisa - but Igirls's sticky seems to say it's $60 for UK travellers.
I'm not sure what entry qualifications are changing.0 -
I have had a few eye operations at Vision Hospital in Mapusa, they have good doctors (for more serious problems) and provide good value frames, but there are lots of places to buy from. Vision hospital is pretty cheap. Dentists, again there are lots and they are all pretty good, I use one in Mapusa also...
in reply to do lally tap you could have a look here for restaurant menus/costs
