Summer Villa Holiday 2016 4 adults + 1 baby

Hi all

We want to go on a Summer holiday and book a smallish villa somewhere in the European sun. 4 adults and 1 baby under 12 months. Does anyone have any recommendations on where to go, who to book through and what kind of things I need to look out for, with a baby etc.

Do you want somewhere with a short transfer?

haha sorry, was just a brief thread as still at work.

Relax during the day in the sun and sometimes visit local tourist traps
Cook a nice bbq in the evening and have a few drinks with the other adults who will be there
Fine with hiring a car

The Algarve , nice short flight and plenty of options, lots of choice of accommodation . Prices still reasonable for meals and drinks.

So basically you want people to do your work for you ?
There are tens of thousands of holiday villas in countries all over Europe which would fit what you're looking for.
You need to work out a budget,check who flies where from your local airport,contact local travel agents,research on holiday villa rental sites and then either take a ready-made villa vacation or DIY by spending a long time on the internet.
Spain/Greece/Turkey are the obvious choices.
There really is no other easier way.

There are lots of great villas around Puerto Pollensa, Mallorca.

Myself wife son partner and two year old baby for the last two years have rented a villa through Villa Plus in Matagorda Lanzarote for two weeks.
We have just booked again for September,the villa is a ten minute stroll to a small centre with shops bars and restaurants but if you want a bit more life get a cab 5 euro to Puerto Del Carman.
The villa as a nice heated pool,Bbq they provide a cot and every thing else you will require,the villa is a ten minute drive from the airport.

No I asked if anyone had any recommendations as in anyone who has been to villas themselves.
