One lucky reader will win a five-day holiday for two to the beautiful Lake Geneva and Valais regions, part of the Grand Tour of Switzerland. The prize includes return flights from the UK to Switzerland, five days’ car hire, two nights’ accommodation with breakfast at the Castel de Daval in Sierre, two nights’ accommodation with breakfast at a 4-star hotel in the Lake Geneva region, a raclette meal at the Chateau Villa in Sierre and wine tasting in the Lavaux vineyard.

This competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom who are aged 25 years or older, with a UK passport and valid driving UK licence held for at least one year and suitable for driving in Europe. Entrants must not be employees (nor the family of employees) of John Brown, Waitrose Ltd, Switzerland Tourism, their associated companies or anyone else professionally linked with the competition.

2) The closing date is 23.59 on 27 January 2016. Winners will be picked at random from all correct entries received by the closing date.

3) The result of the competition is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.

4) The prize includes:

- 2x Economy return flights from the UK to Switzerland

- 5-day car hire in intermediate category

- 2 nights for two in a double room with breakfast in a hotel in the Valais region

- Raclette meal at the Chateau Villa in Sierre

- 2 nights for two in a double room in a 4-star hotel with breakfast in the Lake Geneva region

- Wine tasting in Lake Geneva Region

5) Holiday to be taken between 01.04.2016 and 31.10.2016. The travel is subject to availability and cannot be taken over Easter holidays.

6) Travel must be from UK airport and the winner and guest must travel together. Transport to UK airport not included. Travel insurance and visas are not included and must be arranged by the winner and guest separately.

7) The car rental does not include fuel costs and any extras. The winner is responsible for any insurance relating to the car rental. The winner must have a clean valid driving UK licence suitable for driving in Europe, held for at least one year and presented to the hire company.

8) The winner must give the organiser at least three weeks before the preferred travel dates.

5) Prizes must be taken as offered, are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. John Brown excludes (so far as is permitted by law) all liability for any loss, damage, cost and expense caused in connection to any competition.

6) The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, terminate or temporarily suspend this promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical reason outside its reasonable control, with no liability to any entrants or third parties.

7) One entry per person. Multiple entries, submitted directly or with the use of any automated systems will not be entered into the draw. No responsibility will be accepted for entries that are lost, delayed, mislaid or damaged in the post. Proof of posting will not be regarded as proof of delivery. Illegible entries or those not in accordance with the rules will be disqualified; any entry containing false, incomplete or misleading information will be ineligible for the draw.

8) By opting-in to receive further information from Switzerland Tourism, entrants agree that their personal details can be disclosed to Switzerland Tourism, and that Switzerland Tourism may use and store these details to provide further information about the company’s products.

9) By entering the competition, entrants will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these rules. While every attempt will be made to contact the prize winner, the prize will be deemed forfeited if it has not been claimed by four weeks after the closing date (unless otherwise stated), and the promoter reserves the right to draw another winner.

10) The winner’s details (name and county) will be available for six weeks by sending a SAE to Waitrose Food, John Brown Media, 136-143 Bramley Road, London W10 6SR to be received after 28 January 2016.

11) This promotion and these terms and conditions are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
