You only need one Tesco Internet Saver to create two DD mandates. Once you have a Tesco Internet Saver do this:

    Login into Tesco Banking

    DD 1:
    Click on Internet Saver
    Click on Move Money In
    Click on Add New
Enter your bank account details, choose a nickname (e.g. Lloyds 1), choose payment amount, date, monthly frequency, until further notice.
    Continue and Confirm

    DD 2:
    Click on Internet Saver
    Click on Move Money In
    Click on Add New
Enter your bank account details again, choose a different nickname (e.g. Lloyds 2), choose payment amount, date, monthly frequency, until further notice.
    Continue and Confirm

A few days later two DDs should be listed on your bank account.
I already have two Tesco DDs set up on Lloyds but lost the interest because I thought 'two different DDs' meant different amounts. Should I add a nickname to one of them on the Lloyds site?

You can't amend a DD on the Lloyds site.
You could add a nickname and/or reference on the Tesco site.

I don't know whether this amendment on the Tesco page would be transmitted to Lloyds. I suspect that a change of reference would have to be passed through to Lloyds, but a change of nickname might not.

I'd play safe and use 2 Internet Savers. (In fact I use 3. Two in sole names and one joint).

I get an error "There's been an error. Please try again." when trying to create a second DD with the same details (but diff nickname) :(
