Increased threat of DCA contacting me?

Hi there,

Just having a little noisy on this section of the forum and realised that ive registered for noddle and clearscore in the last few weeks, so im guessing im going to get harrsed from DCA?

My details haven't changed but on my credit card online and eligibility checkers i did put in my landline number which i do not want DCA to have as i have old parents, i remember having to write to them to remove my landline number and occasional once every 6 months i get a call but they usually hang up when i remind them of the letter i wrote.

The reason i ask, the debt has been passed from one DCA to another.

So what should i expect? :)

NEVER disclose your phone number to creditors; banks, cc card companies, utility providers and all the rest. Do what you can to make sure they don't have your phone details.

Well, if you're being harassed, the assumption is the debt is unpaid. Eventually, the likelihood is it'll end up in front of a court.

Can this happen after the 6 year period of the default? I assumed after 6 years im in the clear?
Of late the letters i receive every few months they are asking me to contact them to make contact. The odd ones call but most dont have my number and i changed my mobile number years ago due to the continuous harassment i was getting.

I did this on new applications, which i got accepted for CC and catalog a few months ago, i doubt these companies will pass on my details to the DCA's? Sorry i should have been more clear about this.

Edit: I also did this with the credit reference agency's. I hope they dont pass on my phone number.

Unfortunately these are the worst people to have access to your phone number. The CRAs will publish your details.
