Santander direct debit query

We have a 123 account, I've just noticed we aren't getting cashback on our PlusNet broadband. Should we be? I would have thought this comes into the same category as phone calls. We get cashback from BT and mobile phone company.

    Assuming that you pay by set up a DD, You should have got 3% cashback.
    I have got 3% cashback with DD from TalkTalk for Internet, TV and TalkTalk mobile.

    You should query that to Santandar

    Plusnet are on the list of cashback companies: http://www.santander-products.co.uk/banking/calculator/cashbacksearch.html

    If you get other cashback,you need to take this up with Santander. If you don't get other cashback, you probably did not meet the criteria (2 DDs, £500 paid in)

    Thanks, we'll query it as we meet the criteria and get cash back on other DDs.

    Further investigation shows it's only the payment in November which didn't get cashback. How odd! Can I be bothered to chase up 45p......

    Oh yes, it's definitely on the statement. I don't normally check that closely but we were doing some filing and it stood out that there was only 1 comms DD, not the usual 2.

    Unless there's some confusion and Slinky was referring to there being only 1 DD in the cashback statement entry...

    1 Direct Debit Payment for Comms at 3,00% Cashback

    ...despite there being 2 DDs actually leaving the account?
