LV INsurance due for renewal. Haggle or shop around ? Cashback ?

Options
I have been happy with LV Insurance the last 2 years (great customer service and reviews) but their renewal for house and contents is £209. I have looked on Moneysupermarket and the cheapest for roughly the same Home and contents cover is £99 with Swiftcover. Even John Lewis is only £143. I don't want to lose out on possible cashback so I would like to know if there are any good offers with other reliable insurance companies as good or better than LV. Or would I do better to try and haggle but I can't see them matching £99 really.

  • Have you made any claims in last 5 years?

There have been some horror stories on here and in the media about Swiftcover so personally I wouldn't use them.

My husband has insured his car with LV for many years and always manages to get a good deal with them with the minimum amount of haggling, so it would be worth a try. They may not come down as low as £99 but personally I would prefer to pay a bit more for a company I'm happy with.
I'm not sure how old you are but have you tried RIAS, it used to be for the over 50's though I can't be certain that's still the case. We have our house insurance with them, they've always been willing to match better quotes. We've made 2 claims in the last 10 years and they were dealt with quickly and with no hassle.
