Thanks in advance
I know i cannot use 1 no claims bonuses on 2 policies but I have 10 years ncb on one policy and have accrued 6 years on a totally separate vehicle and policy.
Can I use this ncb accrual on a new vehicle and policy ? In addition to my 10 yrs ncb policy

Assuming you have earned both these sets of NCD from holding two separate policies in your own name, and they are both current (insurers generally only accept NCD that was issued in the last 2 years), then you can use the second NCD on a separate policy to cover a second car.0

but 16 years probably exceeds the maximum that and insurer would take into account anyway0

You can use one ncb on one vehicle and the second on another
You cannot combine both to give you 16years.
Normal is 9 years NCB onpolicy regardless if you have had say 30yrs no claims. The world is not ruined by the wickedness of the wicked, but by the weakness of the good. Napoleon0 -

Yes.Can you continue to use 1st NCB when you make a claim on the 2nd NCB?
You do need to inform your "other" insurer (ie the one you didn't claim off) about the claim (as well as any other insurers you approach for quotes), but the claim will only affect the "1st" NCB (assuming it is not protected)0
