Best place to temporarily stick 50k

Hi,

I have inherited £50,000 and and planning to use the money to purchase a larger property (and hold back around £5,000 for savings). I am planning to put our current house on the market this month, so the likelihood is that I'll be moving this year, but until that happens I am unsure of the best place to keep this amount of money until I am ready to use it. I'll obviously need it to be in an instant access account, but can anybody please recommend the best type of account or whether I should be doing anything different? I am not yet in possession of the money.
