  • Switching team are finished for the day, will ring them tomorrow morning.

    Will post back with result.
  • Would like to say I have banked with these for 5 years, 4 of which under a form of insolvency x
  • Thanks keepcalm. That is very encouraging.

    :)
  • Good I'll hope so - you might need to open the Easycash account alongside this, I just found an old phamflet dated June 2014 it says something like that you may be required to "show the original discharge letter with it's original seal" and that they maybe able to open an a/c

I have had the rewards account for a couple of years but with the no overdraft and I still have the Easycash running alongside to this day

BR is no longer showing for the poster so it won't be required. Reason for rejection will be non bankruptcy related if a phone application is made and fails.
  • Quick update guys.

Rang their switching team and successfully opened a new Halifax account with no issues whatsoever.
Not asked at any point if I had previously been bankrupt so thats a fantastic result!

Just going through the switching process now so fingers crossed there will be no problem with the switch.

Thank you all who contributed to this thread, I really appreciate it.
