Anyone ever had a Sun win? Can you help me?

Hi all

About 3 weeks ago I received a call to say i'd won a comp with the Sun and Olay, but haven't heard a sausage since....is this normal? Does anyone else have any experience of Sun or Olay comps? I have called and emailed them (but only the once!) but i'm worried i'm never going to get my dirty weekend in Brighton! :confused:
Some people create their own storms....then get upset when it rains!

    I had a similar experience with Sunday Express someone rang me to tell me i had won a holiday but i nver heard nothing from the Express. I decided to ring their head office and they were able to confirm i had won. I had also e-mailed them twice and never heard anything. If i was you i would try and ring again and take the name of the person you are speaking to and ask them to confirm if you have won. I dont really like the Sun so i never bother to enter any of their comps . Hope this helps you

    Hi, I had a letter last August informing me I had won a competition with The Sun, it took a few emails before the prize finally arrived..... the week before Christmas. I don't know if this is normal or not. I hope you get yours a bit more quickly than I did :rotfl:

    well done on the win, some wins can take a fair while to come through. I am still waiting for one from February and I keep getting in touch with them and they keep saying they are chasing it!

    Hi... I won a £50 kettle from the sun, they phoned up to confirm my address then I received it a few days later! Was well chuffed!! :0)

    My win from the Sun just turned up in the mail - I didn't even know I had won something till that day.

    Good luck and don't be afraid to keep hassling them.

    A while ago I won a prize with the Sun, which never arrived.

    I emailed a few times and phoned, resulting in unfulfilled promises.

    Then I contacted the ASA at

    http://www.asa.org.uk/asa/

    and filled in their online form.

    They were excellent, and to cut a long story short, the prize arrived within a couple of days. I would wait for 28 days for the prize to arrive then contact the ASA.
