Anyone ever had a Sun win? Can you help me?

Hi all
About 3 weeks ago I received a call to say i'd won a comp with the Sun and Olay, but haven't heard a sausage since....is this normal? Does anyone else have any experience of Sun or Olay comps? I have called and emailed them (but only the once!) but i'm worried i'm never going to get my dirty weekend in Brighton!

Some people create their own storms....then get upset when it rains!

I had a similar experience with Sunday Express someone rang me to tell me i had won a holiday but i nver heard nothing from the Express. I decided to ring their head office and they were able to confirm i had won. I had also e-mailed them twice and never heard anything. If i was you i would try and ring again and take the name of the person you are speaking to and ask them to confirm if you have won. I dont really like the Sun so i never bother to enter any of their comps . Hope this helps you0

Hi, I had a letter last August informing me I had won a competition with The Sun, it took a few emails before the prize finally arrived..... the week before Christmas. I don't know if this is normal or not. I hope you get yours a bit more quickly than I did :rotfl:0

My win from the Sun just turned up in the mail - I didn't even know I had won something till that day.

A while ago I won a prize with the Sun, which never arrived.
I emailed a few times and phoned, resulting in unfulfilled promises.
Then I contacted the ASA at
http://www.asa.org.uk/asa/
and filled in their online form.
They were excellent, and to cut a long story short, the prize arrived within a couple of days. I would wait for 28 days for the prize to arrive then contact the ASA.
