No padlock in address bar for Lloyds (Firefox)

I spotted the lack of any padlock symbol on my usual login for Lloyds. Should there not be one there?

  • Firefox thinks there is some sort of problem with the SSL certificate. Click the exclamation mark and see what it thinks is wrong.

The address looks correct though and it is showing https so probably nothing major.

It should be taken very seriously actually. Depending what is wrong with the SSL could even indicate a man in the middle attack.

Mine is green on Firefox android..

I've checked on my PC. Windows 10 and Firefox 43.0.1. I've got a green padlock there.

Right click in the firefox browser (just above the address bar) and click menu bar. Please check you have the latest updates installed for Firefox: Help > About Firefox. Delete your browsing history/ cookies too: Tools > Options > Privacy > clear your recent history

Just checked mine win 7 on Pale Moon 64 bit browser - a Firefox "fork" and mine is the usual full green padlock.

Edit - on my screen there is no arrow and "cookie policy" on the top right of the screen just the arrow and "Mobile".
Maybe OP is not on the real Lloyds site?

It looks like the genuine Lloyds Bank website but on my iPad the secure URL is also green.

Have you tried another browser OP?

I'd err on the side of caution in case your computer has been compromised.

Yes, I did the transaction on Chrome. Since then, the padlock has always appeared on Firefox, although I haven't changed anything.
