    council tax support is not part of universal credit and will still have to be claimed seperately

    You don't 'sign off' Universal Credit in the way you could with JSA.


    The UC claim remains live for 6 months. Did you perhaps withdraw your claim? Also, JCP staff cannot sign off/end a UC claim. The UC Tel contact centre does this.


    Please bear this in mind when you appeal. It may be that you were given incorrect info by JCP staff, who are still being trained on UC claims.
    Please be polite to OPs and remember this is a site for Claimants and Appellants to seek redress against their bank, ex-boss or retailer. If they wanted morality or the view of the IoD or Bank they'd ask them.
