95 grand to save?? Where??

Having just sold our house, we have 95 thousand to save until we decide to buy another house (staying with parents at the mo). This will not happen immediately, so in the meantime we want our money to be earning us some more! We would need to have access to it. Any suggestions please as we have no idea! Someone suggested premium bonds. ISA's are a possibility but it's a bit of a faff to have a few of these. Thanks!

Try a National Savings account. Government guaranteed for any amount of money and rather better interest than the banks.

... and if going for generic saving products then split it over more than one provider. top of my head the gov protection savings thing drops from 85k to 75k as of this month? (anyone?). best be safe than sorry.

You can only have one ISA each, each financial year, and the rates are not very good.

You could get the full £95k earning 3%-5% AER with a bit of faff.
