Is now a bad time to sell?

Just wondered what the general consensus is to selling on Ebay at this time of year?
I've got some things I've been meaning to list for a while now and obviously with having time off work over the Christmas period I might actually have the time to list them. However, wondering if I'd be better holding off until next month or do people find it doesn't really matter?

I find it can be very variable at this time of year, not just these early weeks in January but really through to about March/April. Obviously it varies with what you are selling.
If this year follows previous years I will have very good days and some very poor days with no real pattern to them.
I often have a little peak at end of January ready for a Valentine's Day as I can often find a few vintagebits and pieces in my storage that I can sell using the 'ideal Valentine gift' tag.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. If you are worried about an item not selling well you could always start it at a price you are happy with or do it buy it now.
I personally find it a busy time till the end of January. Everyone selling their unwanted Christmas presents off and having money in their PayPal accounts to burn. Miserable weather so people do not go out.
Really though it depends what you are selling. If it something people want then it will sell whenever.0
