Cineworld charges 50 per ticket to redeem pre-paid vouchers - is this legal? Seems a rip off

    50 what, 50p ?

What does it say in the t&c's for the pre paid vouchers about redeeming them ?

How are you redeeming them, Internet, in a cineworld ?

It's a booking fee according to a reply in your other thread.
  • If your scheme is provided by Filmology the they make it clear on the webpage that there's an additional charge if you wish to redeem online. It's free to use them in person at the cinema (you can even pop in a few days before if you really want a particular seat).

Don't all cinemas charge a booking fee for online bookings*, regardless of the "payment" method? The fact you have pre-paid vouchers is irrelevant.

    * The absurdity of this is another discussion.

Cineworld do (at least my local one does but I assume the site is standard nationwide) BUT the tickets are cheaper online so it's still cheaper to book online even with the booking fee.

(But I just go on meerkat days hehe)
