Airport parking

In 2 weeks' time I go to one of my most (if not THE) favourite places on the planet - Riga :T:j:T.
However the trip this time is a little different as I have to make my own way to the airport instead of being dropped of by a friend or family member.

So my question is this - What times do I put into the booking form when reserving a parking space?
Is it the times of my flights? Or should I add some time to account for checking in and passport control?
I don't want to be stung for extra time if I can help it.

  • Your start time should be when you enter the car park.

Your exit time should allow for customs and bagged collect etc.

I'd usually round up exit time to be the same as entry time to allow for delays. Many car parks charge in 24 hour blocks so this extent up shouldn't cost extra.

Play about with the system to confirm this.

NCP charge by the day so you can put in an arrival time of 1.00 am and a exit time of 23.45 and it won't make any difference to the cost. In fact I always put in a exit time of 23.45 in case of aircraft delays. This paid off last year when my flight was delayed by 11 hours.

As you don't say who you plan to park with I can't help much more.

    Have a good holiday.

I am flying from Doncaster Airport.
And according to the website, the carparks are managed by the airport rather than another company. The FAQ about dates did not make sense to me.

I've just read the faq's and they seem pretty clear to me in that they say when booking online you pay per day. So if you travel from Monday to Monday you pay for 8 days parking.

If you are unsure, just do a test booking for the correct number of days but use different entry and exit times.
