cider ok instead of Coke for slow cooker gammon???

SOMEBODY??? Drank the "real" Coke reserved for cooking the gammon, shoved 2 tins strongbow cider instead, in with the smoked gammon in the slow cooker. When the mustard and brown sugar glaze go over it, am hoping it is tasting ok. What do you think??!

Apple and pork's a classic combination, coke and pork's only a recent innovation.
