Coming to the end of interest free period on our M&S More card so am looking for a replacement. Don't want a balance transfer just a 0% on spending for the longest possible period.

HSBC looks OK but am wondering whether they give decent limit from the outset and if not which card does?

Thanks

You can always apply and see how much credit they are willing to give you when they issue you the card. If your on a good salary and have a good credit history then you should get enough to cover your balance transfer.

Don't want a balance transfer, just a 0% on spending deal and don't really want to apply unless I know they offer a good limit otherwise I'll end up having to re-apply to another card and have too many searches on my file.

You should get a decent deal with them if your current credit card is paid all the time, the HSBC is a good choice for the purchases (excuse the balance transfer from before)
